Alty Mini Kickers

Alty Mini Kickers is something we are really proud of here at Alty FC Foundation. Every Saturday, we put on classes for your children, aimed at developing confidence and physical mobility. It is a great introduction to football for those just starting out. Each session will have some key football skills taught in a fun and interactive environment.

Every session is supervised by our specially trained staff, getting the best out of each child. Up until 3 years, grown-ups participate as well so that parents, carers and even grandparents can spend time with little ones as they develop. For our 4-6-year-old classes, parent interaction is not necessary but is welcomed if child and parent want that to be the case.

We are very grateful for the support from our sponsor J Davidson.

Sessions cost £25 for the month and sessions take place from 8.50am to 12pm every Saturday morning.

Alty FC Foundation operates an accredited DofE Award Centre. As an Open Centre we offer local young people, regardless of school or location, the opportunity to complete the Bronze, Silver and Gold awards via a structured and supportive programme.

The DofE Award provides young people with an edge in an increasingly competitive world. Achieving the Award displays a strength of character that higher education institutes and future employers value.

What you can expect:

  • Experienced & qualified expedition supervisors, all DBS cleared.

  • Outward and return transport to Silver & Gold expedition start and end points.

  • DofE Award compliment training on site at Altrincham Football Club.

Holiday Clubs

For eleven weeks a year, Alty FC Foundation coaches provide sports fun weeks at venues across Altrincham & Timperley & Lymm. We pride ourselves on keeping these sessions fun, however each day has structure to it.

Fun weeks are available for ages 5-12 years old. All our coaches are DBS registered and hold relevant coaching qualifications and a number of sports. Please read all the information carefully when booking, all fun weeks are to be booked online and paid in advance.

Each school holiday we deliver:

  • Football Funweeks
  • HAF / J. Davidson Multi Sport Funweeks
  • SEND Holiday Camp

Football Fun Weeks

We are pleased to once again be organising our Football Fun Week during the School holidays!

We will be offering our funweeks for children aged 5-12 years old, the dates for which are included in the poster.  Each day will be filled with various challenges, quizzes, matches and competitions all to do with football. It’s a great opportunity to socialise with your friends and make new ones, all while staying active and getting excited about football!

Matchday Parties

Lead the team out of the tunnel!

This party package gives your birthday child and their friends a unique experience they will never forget with a chance to meet the players prior to kick off.

The children will then proceed to have some pre-match food and drink in the hall, whilst soaking up the home matchday atmosphere alongside other fans. Your child will lead the team out of the tunnel for kick-off, then all the party children can entertain the crowds with a half-time mini-game on the pitch. If that’s not enough, we add in lots of extras. See the details above.

Mascot Experience

Ever wanted to lead Altrincham FC out of the J.Davidson Stadium tunnel? Dreamed of warming up on the pitch alongside the players? Well now you can!

Packages include:

  • Match Tickets (Package 1 is three general admission tickets in the Main Stand. Package 2 is two hospitality tickets in the Sponsors lounge with pre-match two course meal and complimentary bar included)
  • Altrincham FC Home Shirt
  • Photographs on the Pitch
  • Walk out with the players at kick-off

Walking football is different to regular Association Football in many ways, and is traditionally aimed at the over 50’s age group, or those whose mobility may be slightly compromised. However, many tournaments are now catering exclusively for the over 60’s age group.

Walking football has very specific rules that outlaw all running and allow either no contact or only minimal physical contact between players. Over-head height restrictions and indirect free kicks ensure that the sport is played safely with full consideration to the participants’ age.

Teams are either 5 or 6-a-side. As a result of these rules, games are played at a slower pace, often on state-of-the-art 3G artificial grass pitches, thus reducing the threat of pain, discomfort, and injury, with players briskly walking through matches. This allows people who have loved the sport all their lives to once again safely get back to playing and also introduces the sport to people who perhaps have never considered playing before.

For a number of years now we have been offering our local community the chance to play walking football at a number of venues and times around the local area.

On Wednesday the session takes place within the community hall at the J Davidson Stadium (the home of Altrincham FC.) On the Thursday, we host the guys down at Broomwood Health Centre.
