A New Identity to Reflect a Growing Impact Across the Community

Altrincham FC Community Sports is proud to announce its rebrand to Alty FC Foundation, marking an exciting new chapter in the charity’s journey and reinforcing its commitment to creating positive change across Trafford and beyond.

Altrincham FC Community Sports Rebrands as Alty FC Foundation

The new identity reflects the organisation’s evolution from a community sports provider into a dynamic and impactful charitable foundation delivering a wide range of programmes that support health, wellbeing, education, employability, inclusion, and community development.

Over the past 12 months alone, the charity has engaged with thousands of individuals through initiatives designed to improve lives, reduce inequalities, and strengthen communities. The transition to Alty FC Foundation provides a clearer representation of the breadth of work being delivered and the ambition for future growth.

The rebrand was officially unveiled at a launch event attended by over 70 guests, including local businesses, council representatives, partners, funders, and community stakeholders. Attendees heard about the Foundation’s achievements over the last year, its strategic vision for the future, and plans to expand its impact across the region.

The Foundation remains closely connected to Altrincham Football Club, leveraging the power and reach of football to inspire, engage, and support people of all ages and backgrounds.

Speaking about the rebrand, Simon Dow, Head of Community said:

“This rebrand represents far more than a new name and logo. It reflects who we are today and where we are going as an organisation. Alty FC Foundation captures our ambition to be a leading force for positive change within our communities, while remaining true to our roots and our connection with Altrincham Football Club.

We are incredibly proud of the impact we have achieved so far and excited about the opportunities ahead. Our vision is to continue growing our programmes, reaching more people, and working alongside partners who share our commitment to creating stronger, healthier, and more inclusive communities.”

The Foundation’s work spans a diverse range of programmes, including youth engagement, disability sport, mental health and wellbeing initiatives, employability support, holiday provision, community outreach, and educational projects. Through collaboration with schools, local authorities, businesses, healthcare providers, and community organisations, Alty FC Foundation is committed to delivering sustainable social impact where it is needed most.

As part of the launch, the Foundation also highlighted upcoming fundraising initiatives, including its Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge, which will help support the continued delivery and expansion of community programmes.
